1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />FOLLOWS: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1464 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON FIXING THE AMOUNT NECESSARY <br />TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION TO CARRY ON THE <br />VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />FOR THE CURRENT YEAR OF 19 74- 7.5. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br />SECTION ONE: The amount necessary to be raised by taxation <br />upon taxable property in the City of Colton as a revenue to carry on the <br />various departments of the City of Colton for the current year 1974-75 and to <br />pay the bonded indebtedness of said City and the expense of collection, <br />is $654,859.00. <br />SECTION TWO: This ordinance is for the immediate preservation <br />of the public peace, health and safety and shall take effect immediately upon <br />its lawful adoption. The facts constituting the urgency thereof are as follows: <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to the general laws of the <br />State of California for levying municipal taxes to provide for the maintenance <br />of the various governmental functions of the City of Colton including police <br />protection, fire protection, health regulations and other functions which <br />preserve the public health and safety in the City of Colton. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 27th day of August, <br />1974. <br />ALBERT A.
