R-125-07 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, <br />FISCAL YEARS COMMENCING JULY 1, 2007 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2008 <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years commencing July 1, <br />2007 and ending June 30, 2008 was approved and adopted on June 5, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and all applicable statues of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, Amendments to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of <br />the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2007/08 Fiscal Year <br />Budget, adjusting the Salary and Benefits accounts in the Police Department. These changes are <br />needed to cover the cost of salary and benefit increases negotiated by the Colton Police <br />Dispatchers bargaining unit. The additional total cost to implement the above mentioned <br />changes for the City, in fiscal year beginning July 1, 2007 is $75,000 in the following account <br />100-6070-6071-1010: <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of September, 2007. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
