R-131-08 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA TO <br />INCREASE THE FISCAL YEAR 2008/2009 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000 FOR THE 3-5 INTERIM DESIGN PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br />existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); and <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />2008 and ending June 30, 2009 was approved on June 17, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of the appropriations between departmental <br />activities may be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the <br />Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving City <br />infrastructure and the aesthetics of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding has been identified for the allocation of the 3-5 Interim <br />Design Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO HEREBY <br />RESOLVE that the FY 2008/2009 Capital Improvement Program budget be amended <br />to <br />1) Increase the FY 2008/2009 CIP budget in the amount of $100,000 for the <br />2008/2009 3-5 Interim Design Project: <br />a. Increase 212-1000-1000-5993-004-450 by $100,000 <br />b. Increase 450-5993-212 by $100,000 <br />c.
