R-17-08 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2007 AND <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2008. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2007 and ending June 30, 2008 was approved and adopted, and; <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be <br />by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, <br />California authorizes, entering into the State of California Agreement CPRE -7293 providing <br />for a cost of living increase to the State's Department of Education State Pre -School Grant in <br />the amount of $7,726. <br />SECTION 2: As a result of this agreement, it is necessary to make an adjustment to the <br />fiscal year 2007-08 budget. The allocation in the Childcare Fund, revenue account 206-5776 <br />shall be increased by the agreement amount of $7,726. Additionally, the allocations for <br />expenditure accounts 206-7200-7203-1010, and 206-7200-7203-1100, shall be increased by <br />$5,226 and $2,500, respectively. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this f19th day of February 2008. <br />KELLY J STAIN, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
