R-67-08 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE CALIFORNIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />PROVIDING PRESCHOOL CHILDCARE SERVICES FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2008-2009 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has made available a contract in the amount of <br />$176,787 for the Childcare Division of the Community Services Department, for the purpose <br />of providing preschool childcare services in the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton hereby authorizes entering into <br />Agreement CPRE -8286 with the State of California for the provision of preschool childcare <br />services in the City of Colton, in the contract amount of $176,787; and <br />SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign any documents to <br />effectuate this agreement. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of July, <br />ATTEST: <br />a.. <br />CAROLINA R.
