R-68-08 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2008/2009 CAPITAL IMRPOVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,000 FOR THE 2008/2009 SLURRY SEAL PROJECT. WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for fiscal year commencing July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2009 was approved on June 18, 2008; WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and WHEREAS, the reallocation of the appropriations between departmental activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving City infrastructure and the aesthetics of the City; and WHEREAS, the funding has been identified for the allocation of this project. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO HEREBY RESOLVE that: 1) The City Manager be authorized to execute the grant agreement for the RAC Chip Seal Program and all related documents. 2) The FY 2008/2009 Capital Improvement Program budget be amended as follows for the 2008/2009 Slurry Seal Project: a. Increase account 225-8102-450 in the amount of $37,000 b. Increase account 450-8101-225, in the amount of $37,000 c.
