1 RESOLUTION NO. R-24-09 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />3 OF COLTON AUTHORIZING TEMPORARY FULL <br />CLOSURE OF THE ALLEY NORTH OF EAST B STREET <br />4 FOR THREE WEEKS STARTING APRIL 8, 2009. <br />5 WHEREAS, the City has received a request from Cal-Pac Engineering Co., and <br />6 submitted a traffic control plan for temporary full closure of the alley north of east B street; dates <br />7 of the temporary full closure requested are April 8, 2009 through May 6, 2009; and <br />8 WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges that the temporary full closure of the alley <br />9 north of east B Street, is necessary to protect the public health, safety and welfare during the <br />10 development project; and <br />11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />12 agrees to the following: <br />13 1. Authorize the dates of temporary full closure of the alley north of east B <br />Street, beginning April 8, 2009 through May 6, 2009. <br />14 <br />2. Signs identifying the dates of the temporary closure and indicating the <br />15 detour route to be used shall be posed to inform the public. <br />16 3. This action is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301 of the <br />17 California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") Guidelines as there is no evidence that such <br />temporary closure shall have a significant impact on the environment. <br />18 <br />4. This Resolution shall become effective upon its adoption. <br />19 <br />20 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of April 2009. <br />21 <br />22 KELLY J..
