I RESOLUTION NO R-19-10 <br />2 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />3 SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED UPDATE TO <br />THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR PROGRAMS & SERVICES <br />4 PROVIDED BY THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />5 <br />WHEREAS, under the police power granted by Article XI, Section 7 of the California <br />6 Constitution, cities may impose fees, charges and rates for certain municipal services, and; <br />7 WHEREAS, the City of Colton does currently charge fees for certain programs and <br />8 services offered by the Community Services Department, and; <br />9 WHEREAS, these fees must be analyzed and adjusted periodically to ensure that they <br />10 are reasonable, justified, and provide for adequate cost recovery by the city, and; <br />11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton wishes to consider updates to these <br />current fees for programs & services offered by the Community Services Department. <br />12 <br />13 NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />14 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />15 1. The City Council does hereby intend to consider updates to fees for <br />16 programs & services offered by the Community Services Department <br />17 2. Such updates shall be considered, and public comment heard on proposed <br />18 action, by the City Council at 6:00 p.m. on June 15, 2010 in the City Council Chambers. <br />19 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 2010. <br />20 pi-I C <br />21 <br />KELLY J.
