R-33-18 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2017/2018 BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE $200,000 <br />FROM PARK DEVELOPMENT FUNDS FOR SOCCER COMPLEX <br />DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has identified the need for a community soccer complex and <br />park within Colton to meet the growing needs of the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Colton Sports Complex will provide a safe, well-maintained park, <br />containing sports facilities geared toward soccer and football experiences for Colton family <br />members of all ages; and <br />WHEREAS, this funding will be utilized to complete environmental studies, project <br />oversight, boundary surveys, recording, and other necessary tasks through the draft and final <br />Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Colton Soccer Complex. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted as findings, <br />and incorporated into this resolution. <br />Section 2: The City Council authorizes an appropriation of $200,000 from the Park <br />Development Fund as an adjustment to the Fiscal Year 2017/2018 budget as follows: <br />• Professional Services Acct # 248-6200-6205-2350 $200,000. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15t day of May, 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />� <br />AROLINA R.
