1 <br />2 RESOLUTION NO. R-41-18 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, RE -ADOPTING A REVISED CITY <br />4 COUNCIL MANUAL OF PROCEDURE AND <br />5 RESCINDING ALL PRIOR RESOLUTIONS RELATED <br />THERETO <br />6 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducts its meetings in accordance with its <br />7 <br />Manual of Procedure ("MOP") and applicable state law, including, but not limited to, the <br />8 Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code Section 54950 et se and <br />9 <br />10 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the MOP in its entirety on December 16, <br />1986, pursuant to Resolution No. R-185-86; and <br />11 <br />12 WHEREAS, the City Council subsequently adopted minor amendments to the <br />13 MOP, pursuant to duly adopted resolutions, such as R-98-96 and R-29-95; and <br />14 WHEREAS, the City Council last updated and re -adopted the MOP in its <br />15 entirely on November 20, 2007, pursuant to Resolution No. R-150-07; and <br />16 WHEREAS, the City Council last updated and re -adopted the MOP in its entirely on <br />17 December 2, 2014, pursuant to Resolution No. R-03-15; and <br />18 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the MOP should be updated <br />19 and re -adopted in its entirety. <br />20 <br />21 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />22 <br />23 SECTION 1. The MOP dated April 17, 2018 and adopted on the same date is <br />24 hereby re -adopted by this Resolution. <br />25 SECTION 2. All prior resolutions and actions adopted or taken with respect to <br />26 the MOP, including, but not limited to, Resolutions R-185-86, R-98-96, R-29-95, R-150-07, <br />27 R-03-15 are hereby rescinded. <br />H <br />28 <br />Resolution R41-18 <br />Page 1 <br />
