I RESOLUTION NO. R-53-18 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2017/2018 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. 3 4 WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic 5 safety and infrastructure; and 6 WHEREAS, the City of Colton received Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 7 funding through the County of San Bernardino — Department of Community Development and 8 Housing (CDH); and 9 WHEREAS, the City of Colton received additional funding for the CDBG Colt -17-2- 10 03K-2988/Citywide Sidewalk Improvement Near Elementary Schools Project; and 11 WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the 2017-2018 Fiscal Year budget is 12 required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 14 CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 15 16 Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are 17 incorporated into this Resolution by reference. 18 Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the FY17-18 budget: 19 • Increase revenues by $50,000 in account number 215-5752-000; and, 20 . Appropriate $50,000 in account number 215-1806-6920-3890-0000 for the 21 CDBG Colt-17-2-03K-2988/Citywide Sidewalk Improvement Near Elementary 22 Schools Project. 23 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June, 2018. 24 25 26 ATTEST: RICHARD A.
