R-92-17 <br />2 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />3 APPROVING AMENDMENT 01 TO THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />4 EDUCATION CONTRACT CCTR-7196 FOR THE PROVISION OF SCHOOL <br />AGE CHILDCARE SERVICES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION <br />5 DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2017-2018 AND AMENDING THE 2017-18 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET TO <br />6 REFLECT AN INCREASE IN FUNDING FOR THE PROVISION OF SCHOOL <br />7 AGE SERVICES <br />8 WHEREAS, the City of Colton entered into Contract CCTR-7196 with the California <br />9 Department of Education on June 20, 2017, for the provision of school age services by the <br />10 Early Childhood Education Division of the Community Services Department; and <br />11 <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Education has issued Amendment 01 to this Contract <br />12 <br />13 CCTR-7196, increasing the contract allocation of funds from $209,820 to $237,151. <br />14 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />15 follows: <br />16 Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted <br />17 <br />as findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />18 <br />19 Section 2: City approves the State of California Contract Amendment 01 to CCTR- <br />20 7196, for the provision of school age services in the Early Childhood Education Division of the <br />21 Community Services Department. <br />22 Section 3: The City Manager, as Executive Director of the program, is hereby <br />23 <br />24 authorized to sign the applicable documents on behalf of the City to execute this agreement. <br />25 Section 4: In order to account for this increased funding, budget allocations for <br />26 Fiscal Year 2017-18 are hereby amended as follows. <br />27 Revenue account <br />28 <br />206-5777-000 General Child Care — CCTR, shall be increased by $27,321. <br />
