R-28-17 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2016/2017 BUDGET AND ACCEPT <br />THE 2016 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE <br />GRANT (JAG) WITH ITS ACCOMPANYING MOU <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing <br />July 1, 2016 and ending June 30, 2017 was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 21, 2017 the Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant was <br />awarded to the Colton Police Department in the amount of $12,342. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DECLARED, DETERMINED AND <br />ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Colton, California, as follows: <br />Section 1. Accept the 2016 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant (JAG) and <br />its accompanying Sub Award Agreement in the amount of $12,342. <br />Section 2. Amend the FY 2016/2017 budget to increase Revenue Account 225- <br />5891-016 and Expenditure Account 225-6070-7004-4930-0000-016 in the amount of <br />$12,342. <br />Section 3.
