R-51-17 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CONTRACT CCTR- <br />7196 FOR THE PROVISION OF SCHOOL AGE CHILDCARE SERVICES IN THE <br />EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES <br />DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017-2018. <br />V <br />WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Education has approved the State <br />School Age Contract CCTR-7196 for fiscal year 2017-2018; and <br />WHEREAS, this contract will provide $209,820 of funding to enable the City of <br />Colton to provide school age childcare services to low income families; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted as <br />findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />Section 2: City approves the State of California Contract CCTR-7196, for the provision of <br />school age services in the Early Childhood Education Division of the Community Services <br />Department. <br />Section 3: The City Manager, as Executive Director of the program, is hereby authorized to <br />sign the applicable documents on behalf of the City to execute this contract. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20a' day of June, 2017. <br />ATTEST: <br />i <br />CAROLINA R.
