R-63-17 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2017 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2018 IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $276,515 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, <br />2018 was approved and adopted by Resolution No. R-38-17 on June 6, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and applicable statues of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The re -allocation of appropriations between department activities may be <br />made by the City Manager. Amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by approval <br />and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Accept the FY 2016 Assistance to Firefighter's Grant. <br />SECTION 2. It is necessary to make an amendment to the 2017-2018 Budget; increasing <br />the revenue estimate in Account Number 225-5879-016 in the amount of $276,515 and an <br />associated increase of appropriations in the Fire Department Account Number 225-6090-6091- <br />4930-0000-016 in the amount of $276,515. <br />SECTION 3. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15`' day of August, 2017. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
