1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-21-15 <br />2 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />3 PRIORITIZING PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2015-2016 <br />4 <br />5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a <br />6 Cooperation Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community <br />Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funds; and <br />7 <br />8 WHEREAS, as a "Cooperating City," the City of Colton anticipates receiving <br />9 $458,738 in CDBG funds for fiscal year 2015-2016; and <br />10 <br />11 WHEREAS, the City Council, as the governing body of the City of Colton, is <br />12 required by statute to take a formal action approving a prioritized list of projects to be <br />13 recommended to the County for funding with CDBG funds for fiscal year 2015-2016 in their <br />14 Consolidated Plan to comply with CDBG program regulations and subject to available <br />15 funding; and <br />16 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council seated a committee, known as the CDBG Ad Hoc <br />17 Committee, comprised of three (3) City Council members and three (3) Planning <br />18 Commissioners, to review the eligible projects and make funding recommendations to the <br />19 Council; and <br />20 <br />21 WHEREAS, the City of Colton is required to inform the County of San Bernardino <br />22 regarding the priority of eligible projects to be funded with CDBG funds for fiscal year 2015- <br />23 2016. <br />24 <br />25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton, as follows: <br />26 <br />27 SECTION 1. The recitals preceding this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />28 incorporated into this Resolution by this reference. <br />111 <br />
