I RESOLUTION NO. R-121-15 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />3 AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2015/2016 BUDGET BY TRANSFERING $50,000.00 <br />INTO THE WATER CONSERVATION REBATE ACCOUNT FOR ENHANCED <br />4 WATER CONSERVATION EFFORTS <br />5 WHEREAS, the State has implemented new emergency drought regulations and rules <br />6 specifically targeted at customer usage reduction; and <br />7 <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department, Water Conservation Division has <br />8 <br />9 implemented emergency water conservation restrictions; and <br />10 WHEREAS, the City intends to improve the availability of water supply served to the <br />I I City of Colton residents; and <br />12 WHEREAS, a budget transfer for conservation actions above those listed in the 2015- <br />13 <br />2016 Fiscal Year budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />14 <br />15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />16 <br />Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />17 incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />I8 Section 2 The City Council authorizes a transfer of $50,000, and an adjustment to the <br />19 Fiscal Year 2015-2016 budget as follows: <br />20 .
