R-60-14 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUANCE OF OPERATIONS <br />INTO FISCAL YEAR 2014-15 AT FISCAL YEAR 2013-14 APPROPRIATIONS <br />LEVELS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has duly passed the Fiscal Year 2013-14 budget, and; <br />WHEREAS, the presentation to City Council of the Fiscal Year 2014-15 operations <br />budget has been delayed, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2013-14 budget ends on June 30, 2014, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council deems it appropriate to continue the operation of City <br />services until the passage of the Fiscal Year 2014-15 budget, and; <br />WHEREAS, Government Code Section 29088(b) allows entities to pass a resolution <br />continuing the prior year's operating budget for up to 60 days. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />does hereby continue the 2013-14 annual budget in full force and effect until August 30, 2014, <br />or adoption of the Fiscal Year 2014-15 budget, except for capital expenditures which may <br />require City Council approval. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 2014. <br />ATTEST: <br />SABD NCHEZ <br />Chief Deputy City Clerk <br />
