R-81-13 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT NEEDS ANALYSIS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2014/2015 THROUGH 2018/2019. WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved the passage of Measure 11990- 2010 in November 1989, and renewed as Measure 12010-2040 in November 2004, authorizing San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), acting as the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, to impose a one-half of one percent retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory of the County of San Bernardino; and WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvement and traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance No. 89-1 of the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority; and WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from the Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt and update a Five -Year Capital Project Needs Analysis; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving the street infrastructure. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton, State of California, hereby adopts the Measure I — Five -Year Capital Project Needs Analysis for FY 2014-2015 through 2017-2018, attached to this resolution.
