RESOLUTION NO. R-56-12 <br />2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />3 AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE <br />THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENT NO. N-015 TO THE <br />4 ADMINISTERING AGENCY -STATE MASTER AGREEMENT NO. 5065R FOR <br />THE MOUNT VERNON AVENUE OVER UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD TRACK <br />5 BRIDGE WIDENING PROJECT <br />6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton desires to improve the safety of the <br />7 <br />bridges within City jurisdiction; and <br />8 <br />9 WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received High Priority Project (HPP) and Highway <br />10 Bridge Program (HBP) Funding for the Mount Vernon Avenue Over Union Pacific Railroad <br />11 Track Bridge Widening Project; and <br />12 WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received authorization from Caltrans to proceed <br />13 <br />with the Preliminary Engineering for the Mt. Vernon Avenue Over Union Pacific Railroad <br />14 <br />15 Track Bridge Widening Project; and <br />16 WHEREAS, the State requires that the Program Supplement Agreement No. N-015 to <br />17 Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 5065R be fully executed by the City and <br />18 the State before any invoices for reimbursement can be processed; and <br />19 <br />20 WHEREAS, the State requires that the City adopt and attach a resolution identifying the <br />21 project and the official authorized to execute the Program Supplement Agreement No. N-015 <br />22 to the Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 5065R; and <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 /// <br />
