R-33-11 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />INCREASING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE ALLOCATIONS IN THE <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2010-2011 TO <br />ACCOUNT FOR THE RECEIPT OF GRANT AND DONATION FUNDING <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Community Services Department has received grant funding <br />from the "Children's Fund," in the amount of $2,000, for the purchase of supplies in the 226 <br />After-school Program at Colton Middle School, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Community Services Department has also received a donation <br />from Mr. Jeff Neu, in the amount of $2,500, to purchase clothing and school supplies, as well <br />as facilitate a field trip, for children at the Peter S. Luque Community Center, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Community Services Department has also received a donation <br />from "Truckers for Kids," in the amount of $550, for the purchase of supplies at the Art <br />Thompson Teen Center, and; <br />WHEREAS, these donations have been made through the Colton Parks & Recreation <br />Foundation, which has issued checks to the City of Colton, in the amounts of $2,000, $2,500, <br />and $550 respectively, and; <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />2010 and ending June 30, 2011 has been approved and adopted, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, and amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by <br />approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />
