R-47-11 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />SUPPORTING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN AMENDED APPLICATION FOR LOCAL <br />STIMULUS FUNDS THROUGH SANBAG. <br />WHEREAS, On July 1, 2009 the SANBAG Board of Directors approved a 31.4 <br />million Local Stimulus Program (LSP) for the Local Agencies (Cities, towns and county); and <br />WHEREAS, The City submitted four application for the LSP on August 30, 2011 in <br />the amount of $732,660 and;. <br />WHEREAS, The City seeks to amend the submittal applications to fund the Colton <br />Crossing Project; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton's allocation of Local Stimulus Funds is $732,660, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton seeks Local Stimulus Funds for the Colton Crossing <br />Project to improve traffic flow, rail operations, decrease noise and air impacts, facilitate future <br />economic development and eliminate disruption to emergency vehicles; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />• Support the submittal of an amendment application for SANBAG Local Stimulus <br />Funds for the Colton Crossing Project in the amount of $732,660. <br />• Authorize the City Manager to sign any related grant documents. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND AN TED THIS nDAY--OF JUNE 2011. <br />Mayor <br />ATTE <br />EILEEN C.
