R-54-11 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $22,284.24 FROM THE <br />BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE, BULLETPROOF VEST <br />PARTNERSHIP FY2010 AWARD AND AMEND THE 2011/2012 FISCAL <br />BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br />1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012, was approved and adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, On October 7, 2010, the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Bulletproof Vest <br />Partnership FY2010 Grant was awarded to the Colton Police Department in the amount of <br />$22, 284.24; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as <br />follows: <br />Section 1 It is necessary to approve and accept this Bureau of Justice Assistance, <br />Bulletproof Vest Partnership FY2010 Award in the amount of $22,284.24 to the <br />Revenue Account 225-5890-001 and Expenditure Account 225-6070-7003- <br />4930-0000-000 <br />Section 2 The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this -2,1s` day of Jupg, 2011. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
