I RESOLUTION NO. R-83-11 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />3 APPROVING A CHANGE IN THE PAYING AND REPORTING OF THE VALUE OF <br />EMPLOYER PAID MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE IBEW ELECTRIC <br />4 UNIT. <br />5 WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Colton has the authority to implement <br />6 Government Code Section 20636(c)(4) pursuant to Section 20691; <br />7 WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Colton has amended its written labor <br />8 policy or agreement which specifically provides for the normal member contributions to be <br />9 paid by the employer, and reported as additional compensation; <br />10 WHEREAS, one of the steps in the procedures to implement Section 20691 is the <br />11 adoption by the governing body of the City of Colton of a Resolution to commence paying and <br />12 reporting the value of said Employer Paid Member Contributions (EPMC); pursuant to CCR <br />title 2 section 571(a)(1). <br />13 <br />WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Colton has identified the following <br />conditions for the purpose of amending its election to pay EPMC; <br />15 a This benefit shall apply to all employees of the IBEW Electric Unit. <br />16 . This benefit shall consist of paying 0% of the normal contributions as EPMC, and <br />17 reporting the same percent of compensation earnable as additional compensation. <br />18 • The effective date of this Resolution shall be September 6, 2011. <br />191 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the governing body of the City of <br />20 Colton elects to pay and report the value of EPMC, as set forth above. <br />21 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6t day of September, 2011. <br />22 <br />23 Q �� <br />SARAH S.
