CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 4,1996 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: NABAR ENRIQUE MARTINEZ, CITY <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTOR W, <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL -T ME <br />POSITION OF STOREKEEPER IN THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: MAY 28,1996 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Maintenance Worker II position in the Electric <br />Department. This position is being underfilled with a Storekeeper position. Attached is the job <br />description for the classification; salary range is $1,766- $2,147 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: A promotional recruitment for said position was conducted from <br />February 26, 1996 to March 11, 1996. Written examinations were conducted in April 1996. An <br />eligibility list was established on May 2, 1996. The candidate being referred for Council ratification <br />meets the education and experience requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This is an enterprise fund position and is funded in the 1995-96 fiscal year. <br />This position will be funded in the 1996-97 fiscal year as a Storekeeper. Fund Account No. 20-5004- <br />01 alary) and Account No. 20-5004-10 (salary related benefits). <br />Thomas K.
