ACEVEDO, Finance Direc r <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for a Two Year Contract for Date: June 8, 1992 <br />Miscellaneous Electrical Material to Graybar Electric <br />and WESCO Utility for the Period 7/1/92 thru 6/30/94 <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 11, 1992, General Services advertised for sealed bids for <br />a two year contract on miscellaneous electrical material requirements <br />as generated by various City departments. <br />Bid opening was held at 2:00 p.m., May 28, 1992, in the General <br />Services office. Three bids were received and evaluated. <br />It should be noted that both recommended vendors have local outlets <br />for these materials, and the majority of items purchased will be on <br />a "will call" basis. <br />DISCUSSION <br />A Bid Analysis is attached which reflects a percentage off Trade <br />Service Book, end column pricing, which is a standard pricing <br />practice used in this industry. The analysis further reflects de- <br />livery and discount terms.
