CITY OF COLTON CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING MINUTES April 3, 2012 The Regular Meeting of the Colton City Council was held on the above -given date at 6:07 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Sarah S. Zamora presiding. CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL Council Members Present Sarah S. Zamora, Mayor David J. Toro Frank A. Gonzales, Mayor Pro Tem Vincent Yzaguirre Susan M. Oliva Alex G. Perez Council Members/Staff Absent Deirdre H. Bennett There was no Closed Session at this meeting. Staff Present Rod Foster, City Manager Rahsaan Tilford, City Attorney Eileen C. Gomez, City Clerk Aurelio De LaTorre, City Treasurer Roll Call was announced by City Clerk Gomez with all members present as heretofore. INVOCATION Pastor Jonathan Florez, First Assembly of God FLAG SALUTE Thomas Leon, VFW Post 6476 CEREMONIAL MATTERS Presentations, Awards, Proclamations • Proclamation - Earth Day, April 22, 2012 MPT Gonzales read the Earth Day Proclamation into the record and Adrianne Rogers, Energy Services Specialist, gave a brief overview of the Earth Day Campaign and accepted the proclamation. She also provided information on various environmental programs and invited the public to attend an event on Saturday, April 21" at Veterans Park. • Proclamation - April 2012 Child Abuse Prevention Month The Child Abuse Prevention Month Proclamation was read into the record by CM Toro and was received by Ms. Kera Hunter, Executive Director of Court Appointed Special Advocate (C.A.S.A.). Ms. Hunter provided comments regarding the program and thanked the Council and the community for their support.
