Crowe, Chief of Police <br />SUBJECT: Request for recruitment and ratification of employee appointment to the full time <br />position of Police Dispatcher I in the Police Department <br />DATE: June 22, 2000 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Police Dispatcher I position in the Police <br />Department. Attached is the job description for the classification: salary range is $ $1919.00 to <br />$2,332.00 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position will be conducted and an eligibility <br />list established upon Council approval. The candidate chosen will meet the education and <br />experience requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funding availability for this general fund position, in the fiscal year <br />2000/01 budget is as follows: Account No. 100-6070-6080-1010 (salary) and Account No. 100- <br />6070-6080-1100 (salary related benefits). <br />Patrick G.
