JOINT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES FEBRUARY 21, 1995 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, a Joint Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton and the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 6:10 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 650 North La Cadena Drive, Chairperson Beltran and Mayor Fulp presiding. RDA ROLL CALL• Members present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Fulp, Cook, Sanders, and Chairperson Beltran. Also present were Executive Director Martinez, Economic Development Director Gabriel, General Counsel Biggs and Assistant Secretary Ramos. CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL: Councilmembers present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, Sanders, Beltran and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Manager Martinez, Economic Development Director Gabriel, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. JOINT PUBLIC HEARING: Mayor/Member Fulp and Councilmember/Chairperson Beltran introduced the Joint Public Hearing of the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton and the City Council for the City of Colton for Consideration and Adoption of Resolution No. 657 of the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton and a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Colton Approving a Certain Disposition and Development Agreement By and Between the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton and Allan Steward. Mayor/Member Fulp and Councilmember/Chairperson Beltran declared the public hearing open. City Clerk/Assistant Secretary Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no written protests had been received. Economic Development Director Gabriel reported that staff has prepared an agreement between the Redevelopment Agency and Allan Steward for the development of a sitdown family restaurant at the southeast corner of Mt. Vernon and Santo Antonio on a one acre parcel presently owned by the Redevelopment Agency. The agreement as negotiated provides for a ground lease with Mr. Steward, allowing for the return of the Agency's investment for the purchase of the parcel, with interest.
