JOINT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND CITY COUNCIL <br />PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES <br />FEBRUARY 21, 1995 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, a Joint Regular <br />Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton and the <br />City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date <br />at 6:10 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 650 North La <br />Cadena Drive, Chairperson Beltran and Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />RDA ROLL CALL• <br />Members present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Fulp, Cook, <br />Sanders, and Chairperson Beltran. Also present were Executive <br />Director Martinez, Economic Development Director Gabriel, General <br />Counsel Biggs and Assistant Secretary Ramos. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, <br />Sanders, Beltran and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Manager <br />Martinez, Economic Development Director Gabriel, City Attorney <br />Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. <br />JOINT PUBLIC HEARING: <br />Mayor/Member Fulp and Councilmember/Chairperson Beltran introduced <br />the Joint Public Hearing of the Redevelopment Agency for the City <br />of Colton and the City Council for the City of Colton for <br />Consideration and Adoption of Resolution No. 657 of the <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton and a Resolution of the <br />City Council of the City of Colton Approving a Certain Disposition <br />and Development Agreement By and Between the Redevelopment Agency <br />for the City of Colton and Allan Steward. <br />Mayor/Member Fulp and Councilmember/Chairperson Beltran declared <br />the public hearing open. <br />City Clerk/Assistant Secretary Ramos submitted the Affidavit of <br />Publication and reported that no written protests had been <br />received. <br />Economic Development Director Gabriel reported that staff has <br />prepared an agreement between the Redevelopment Agency and Allan <br />Steward for the development of a sitdown family restaurant at the <br />southeast corner of Mt. Vernon and Santo Antonio on a one acre <br />parcel presently owned by the Redevelopment Agency. The agreement <br />as negotiated provides for a ground lease with Mr. Steward, <br />allowing for the return of the Agency's investment for the purchase <br />of the parcel, with interest.
