CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />AUGUST 18 1998 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above given date at 6:08 P. Hutton <br />City Attorney Carvalho <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />❖ Proclamation read honoring Hilda Garcia's service and tenure as Library Board Trustee. <br />❖ Recognition for the Ronald McDonald Fundraiser, in support of Police Chief Crowe, which <br />raised $11,650.00. <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL AND RDA CLOSED SESSION <br />With no objection from City Council, City Attorney Carvalho announced that the <br />Council/Agency would meet in Closed Session to confer with its Real Property Negotiator, <br />pursuant to Government Code §54956.8, to discuss terms and price of acquisition, regarding the <br />real property located at 700 East Washington Street. No reportable action was anticipated. <br />Further, City Attorney Carvalho announced that Council agreed to advance and discuss Closed <br />Session Item C to confer with Legal Counsel, pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9(b), <br />regarding two matters of anticipated litigation, specifically, one item relating to Agenda Item 15. <br />r RECESS <br />� <br />At 6:23 P.
