R-8-86 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON APPOINTING THE CITY MANAGER <br />AS THE EMPLOYEE AUTHORIZED TO EXAMINE. <br />STATE SALES AND USE TAX RECORDS. <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton <br />has engaged Robert Hinderliter and Associates to render certain <br />professional services in connection with the review of sales tax <br />revenue generated by businesses located within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 7056 of the State of California Revenue <br />and Taxation Code specifically limits the disclosure of confiden— <br />tial taxpayer information contained in the records of the State <br />Board of Equalization; and <br />WHEREAS, Robert Hinderliter and Associates is required to <br />disclose information contained in, or derived from, those sales <br />and use tax records only to an officer or employee of the City <br />who is authorized by resolution to examine the information. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Colton hereby appoints the City Manager as the em— <br />ployee of the City of Colton authorized to examine information <br />contained in, or derived from, sales and use tax records. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of February, <br />1986. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
