R-107-86 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON CONFIRMING THE REPORT ON THE STREET <br />SUPERINTENDENT ON COST OF ABATING NUISANCE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, Cali- <br />fornia did on April 1, 1986 pass a Resolution declaring that cer- <br />tain weeds growing upon the streets or sidewalks or upon private <br />property within the City of Colton to be a public nuisance and <br />ordered said weeds to be abated by said City; and, <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 39567.1 of the Govern• <br />ment Code, State of California, the City Clerk of the City of <br />Colton caused notices of the proposed abatement to be mailed to <br />all the owners of the property shown on the assessment roll of <br />the County of San Bernardino; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets has caused said <br />weeds rubbish, refuse or dirt to be removed from said property and <br />the nuisance abated and has caused a report of the cost of said <br />removed to be filed with the City Council; and, <br />WHEREAS, a copy of said report has been posted in the <br />time and manner required by law and a hearing on this report was <br />set for the hour of 7:30 p.m. on the 1st day of July, 1986 at whicl <br />time all property owners having an objection to make to said repor <br />might be heard concerning the same; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that property owners have <br />not made sufficient protests or objections to said report, or to <br />the cost of abating said nuisance, either in whole or in part; <br />
