R-114-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE REPAIR OF WELL NO. 22. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton declares that <br />the repair of Well No. 22 to be an emergency; and <br />WHEREAS, the State Government Code, Section 20168 allows for <br />emergency work to be done to safeguard the life, health or property <br />of the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council waives the <br />bid processing procedure for the immediate repair of Well No. 22 <br />in order to safeguard the life, health and property of the public. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of August, 1989. <br />RANK A.
