R-109-93 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF PORTION OF <br />SOUTH SIDE OF BARTON ROAD, WEST OF WATERMAN <br />AVENUE AT MONTECITO MEMORIAL PARK <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Colton <br />having elected to proceed under the provisions of Section <br />8300 et sea. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State <br />of California, and having held a public hearing has <br />provided therein, hereby finds from all the evidence <br />submitted that all that portion of Barton Road as shown by <br />Tract No. 8449 as recorded in Map Book 112, Page 53 & 54 <br />records of San Bernardino County, California described as <br />follows: <br />South Side of Barton Road, west of Waterman Avenue at <br />Montecito Memorial Park <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public street <br />purposes and the public interest and convenience requires <br />the closing of that portion of said street, with the City <br />reserving all utility easements. <br />
