R-105-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON SETTING BASIC COMPENSATION RATES FOR <br />PART-TIME CLASSIFICATIONS OF EMPLOYMENT AND <br />RESCIND RESOLUTION NO, R-64-96 <br />WHEREAS, Federal bill HR 3448, signed into law by President Clinton on August 20, <br />1996, fixes the minimum wage at $4.75 per hour; and <br />WHEREAS, in compliance with Federal bill HR 3448, this resolution increases the <br />hourly rate of pay for the positions of Library Page I, Library Page II and Recreation Aide; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA,- <br />SECTION <br />ALIFORNIA; <br />SECTION I: Resolution No. R-64-96 is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION II: a pay and classification plan for the City of Colton is hereby adopted as <br />set forth in Exhibit A, which is attached to this resolution. <br />ATTEST: <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of September, 1996. <br />c <br />Teresa S.
