R-21-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic <br />safety and infrastructure; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton received Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) <br />funding through Caltrans for the HSIP-Various Crosswalks Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton needs to allocate additional funding in the amount of <br />$110,675.91 to complete the project and will be provided thru Local Traffic Impact Fee; and <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 2021-22 budget is <br />required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment to the FY2021-22 <br />adopted budget: <br />Appropriate $110,675.91 from reserve balance to Traffic Impact Fund Capital <br />Improvement Account Number 249-2025-6150-3890-0000-000 for the HSIP- <br />Various Crosswalks Improvement Project. <br />PASSED; APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 15th <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
