R-19-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ALLOWING THE RECEIPT OF FUNDS <br />TO THE EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY <br />SERVICES DEPARTMENT VIA THE CALIFORNIA DEPARMENT OF EDUCATION, <br />AMERICAN RECOVERY PLAN ACT STIPEND. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton, Early Childhood Education Division of the Community <br />Services Department holds one (1) California Department of Education (CDE) Contract, and <br />one (1) California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Contract, thus considered a CDE and <br />CDSS Funded Agency. <br />WHEREAS, CDE, via American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) and the 2021-2022 State <br />Budget, is authorized to award the every CDE Funded Program in the State of California. <br />WHEREAS, CDE determined the amount of said stipend based off the number of CDE <br />Funded Children in March of 2021. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as follows: <br />Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted <br />as findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />Section 2: City approves the CA Department of Education ARPA Stipend. <br />Section 3: Amend the Fiscal Year 2021-22 budget to increase revenues and <br />appropriations in the following Child Care Fund accounts: <br />Revenue account <br />206-5889-023 Misc Grants, shall be increased by $30,000 <br />Expenditure accounts <br />206-7200-7207-2301-0000-023 Operating Supplies shall be increased by $10,000 <br />206-7200-7207-2304-0000-023 Instructional Materials shall be increased by $20,000 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 151h day of <br />4ATTET: <br />CAROLINA R.
