RESOLUTION NO. R-06-01 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-01-01 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, and Human Resource Department recognizes that there is an ability to hire retired employees on a pari time basis, providing they do not exceed 960 hours of work per annum. WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that an experienced, well-qualified retiree can provide a higher level of expertise to complete special projects than a newly hired or temporary employee while allowing the City to reduce or eliminate the cost of recruitment, and training of a new employee or an employee hired through a temporary agency; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Pari -Time Pay and Classification Plan and create a new part-time position of Public Works Maintenance Worker and establish a new hourly rate. BE IT NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Resolution No. R-01-01, establishing a part-time Pay and Classification Plan for the City of Colton, is hereby amended as follows: SALARY CLASSIFICATION RANGE HOURLY RATE Public Works Maintenance Worker 023 $16.70 SECTION 2.
