R-11-01 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />PRIORITIZING THE TYPES OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a Cooperation <br />Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and, <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton anticipates receiving $382,000 <br />in Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2001-2002; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City must inform the County as to which eligible projects will be <br />funded with CDBG funds. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />prioritizes and allocates CDBG funds for the following projects for Fiscal Year 2001-2002: <br />1. "Legal Services to Economically Disadvantaged Persons" (#27010) <br />2. "Congregate & Home Delivered Meals for Elderly and Disabled <br />Persons" (#27065) <br />3. "Shoppin' 4 Seniors Program" (#27142) <br />4. "Youth Mentoring Program" (#27148) <br />5. "Street Improvements -South Colton Missing Links Area Bounded by <br />Third, Seventh, "K" and "N" Streets" (#27130) <br />6. "Adult and Family Literacy Education Program" (#27149) <br />7. "Emergency Food and Clothing Assistance for Families" (#27156) <br />8. "Minor Home Repair Services for Senior Citizens" (#27246) <br />9. "Emergency Shelter Services to Homeless Families" (#27252) <br />10. "Child Care Modular Unit — Wilson Elementary School" (#27257) <br />11. "Youth Literacy & Education Enhancement Services" (#27319) <br />12.
