R-08-02 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING <br />JULY 1, 2001 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2002 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2001 and ending June 30, 2002 was approved and adopted on August 7, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances <br />the City and all applicable statues of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The re -allocation of appropriations between department activities may <br />made by the City Manager. Amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2001/2002 Fi: <br />Year Budget, increasing the Expenditures in the Fire Department Account Number 100-6C <br />6091-4930, and increase the Revenue Account Number 100-6764 for the amount <br />$70,295.00. <br />SECTION 2. Receipt of a grant in the amount of $70,295.00 from the Feder-, <br />Emergency Management Agency requires matching funds from the City's General Fund in th <br />amount of $7,810. It also requires an amendment to the 2001/2002 Fiscal Year Budge <br />increasing the appropriations in the Fire Department Account Number 100-6090-6091-4930 i <br />the amount of $78,105. Staff requests the matching funds of $7,810 be drawn fror <br />Unappropriated Fund Balance Account Number 100-2970. <br />
