M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Bennett, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION <br />Chaplain Ed List led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL - <br />PRESENT <br />CM Donald J. Bennett <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />City Manager Garcia City Attorney Carvalho <br />City Clerk Barrera <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />➢ Colton Public Utilities Department presented certificates to Miguel Bautista, Thomas Land, <br />Bryanna Schinina, Aracely Bacilio, Marisa Lopez, Kenia Martinez and Ruben Briones for <br />their projects and participation in the CJUSD School Science Fair. <br />➢ Proclamation declared the week of April 16-22, 2001 as National Community Development <br />Week 2001. <br />➢ Certificate of Recognition honored Steve Doane for his good deed. <br />➢ Proclamation declared the week of April 1-7, 2001 as Architect Week. <br />➢ Proclamation for Keep California Beautiful is to be mailed. <br />➢ Recognition given to the City of Colton Water Utility for receipt of the Best Tasting Water <br />First Place Award, presented by California Municipal Utilities Association. <br />➢ Public Safety Annual Report presented by Fire Chief Tom Hendrix and Police Department <br />(not presented). <br />ORDINANCE: <br />City Council Mins April 3, 2001 1 <br />Item #2 <br />
