1 RESOLUTION NO 2430 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTV CnUNCTL OF THE CITY <br /> OF COLTON REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS <br /> 3 OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO TO PERMIT THE <br /> REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER <br /> 4 SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF COLTON RE- <br /> LATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br /> 5 ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 14, 1964,E <br /> 6 <br /> WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election is to be held in the City of <br /> 7 <br /> Colton on April 14, 1964; and <br /> 81 <br /> 9 WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in relation <br /> 10 thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and polling place inserts <br /> 11 to the registered voters of the City and it will facilitate such mailing if the <br /> Registrar of Voters of the County of San Bernardino will prepare and furnish <br /> 12 <br /> the City the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters <br /> 13 <br /> 14 of said City on I, B,M. polling place inserts furnished by the City and after <br /> 15 bursting the forms, will insert the polling place insert and sample ballot <br /> 16 into envelopes, all to be furnished by the City; and <br /> 17� WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall <br /> 1 <br /> 18 be paid by the City of Colton; <br /> 19 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does <br /> 20 I hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows: <br /> 21 SECTION 1, That pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of the <br /> 22 Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby requests <br /> 23 <br /> the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the Registrar of Voters to <br /> 24 prepare and furnish to said City, for use in conducting said election to be <br /> 25 held on April 14, 1964, the imprinting of the names and addresses of the <br /> 26 registered voters of said City on I.B.M. polling place inserts furnished by <br /> r I burstingthe forms, to insert the polling place insert and <br /> 27 the City and after <br /> 28 sample ballots into envelopes, all to be furnished by the City. <br /> ►i <br /> 29 ' SECTION 2.
