r I� <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO,. 2538 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF COLTON,, CONSENTING TO THE DE <br /> 3 TACHMENT FROM CITY OF COLTON A CERTAIN <br /> PARCEL OF LAND HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, <br /> 4 <br /> WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council of the City of <br /> 5 <br /> Colton a written request and consent to the detachment of the following <br /> 61 <br /> property from the City of Colton, to wit: <br /> 7 <br /> The East half of Lot 162, Town of Rialto and adjoining Subdivisions <br /> 8 as per plat recorded in Book 4 of Maps, page 11, records of San <br /> Bernardino County and more particularly described as follows: <br /> 9 <br /> Commencing at the center line intersections of Randall. Avenue <br /> 10 and Sycamore Avenue as shown on said plat of the Town of <br /> Rialto and adjoining subdivisions; thence south along the center <br /> 11 line of Sycamore Avenue a distance of 660 feet more or less to <br /> the true point of beginning, said point being on the easterly <br /> 12 prolongation of the north line of said Lot 162, and a point on <br /> the corporate boundary of the City of "olton; thence west along <br /> 13 said easterly prolongation of said north line of Lot 162 and <br /> continuing west along said north line a distance of 660 feet to <br /> 14 the west line of the east 1/2 of said Lot 162; thence south along <br /> said west line a distance of 660 feet to the south line of said <br /> 15 Lot 162; thence east along said south line and its easterly pro- <br /> longation a distance of 660 feet to the center line of said <br /> 16 Sycamore Avenue, 60 feet wide, said point being on the corporate <br /> boundary of the City of Colton; thence north along said center <br /> 17 line and along said Colton boundary line a distance of 660 feet <br /> to the point of beginning, <br /> 18 <br /> WHEREAS, said consent was given by at least two -thirds of the owners <br /> 19 <br /> of the real property within the territory now within the corporate limits of the <br /> 20 <br /> City of Colton, and <br /> 21 <br /> WHEREAS, by mutual consent of the Cities of Rialto and Colton, the <br /> 22 <br /> alteration and adjustment of boundary lines is deemed necessary for the proper <br /> 23 <br /> development of the areas located adjacent to Randall and Riverside Avenues; <br /> 24 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br /> 25 <br /> of Colton that consent is hereby given by said city to the detachment of the <br /> 26 <br /> following described property to-wit: <br /> 27 <br /> The East half of Lot 162, Town of Rialto and adjoining Subdivision <br /> 28 as per plat recorded in Book 4 of Maps, page 11, records of San <br /> Bernardino County and more particularly described as follows: <br /> 29 <br /> Commencing at the center line intersections of Randall Avenue <br /> 30 and Sycamore Avenue as shown on said plat of the Town of <br /> Rialto and adjoining subdivisions; thence south along the center <br /> 31 line of Sycamore Avenue a distance of 660 feet more or less to <br /> the true point of beginning, said point being on the easterly <br /> 32 prolongation of the north line of said Lot 162, and a point on the <br />
