APPROVED BY <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Date <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING Iterrr � <br />Between <br />The Children and Families Commission for San Bernardino County <br />And <br />City of Colton, Sierra Vista State Preschooll(SVSP) <br />WHEREAS, this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into in the State of Caldomia by and <br />between the Children and Families Commission State PreschooU(SVSP)�hereiino nafterycalhedeinafter Contractor!Ied Theshe <br />e <br />Commission, and City of Colton, Sierra Vista <br />two entities are collectively referred to as Partner Agencies; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has been authorized by the State of California under Section 130100-130155 of <br />the Health and Safety Code and Section 30131.2 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, in accordance with the <br />Children and Families Act of 1998, to promote, support and improve the early development of children <br />prenatal through age five; and <br />authorized by these cited references and by the County of San <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has been <br />contract with organizations for services to children <br />Bernardino Code under Sections 12.291-12.297 to <br />prenatal through age five and their families in San Bernardino County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Partner Agencies desire to provide quality early learning environments for young children; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with the conditions stated herein, Commission and Contractor mutually agree <br />to the following terns and conditions: <br />1 <br />
