ITEM #3 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />CLOSED SESSION - COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />JUNE 19, 2007 <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:07 p.m., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Chastain presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil, Mitchell, Oliva, De La Rosa, Toro <br />and Mayor Chastain. <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />item A thru C. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS <br />Pursuant to Government Code, Section 54957.6 <br />Agency Representative: Daryl Parrish, City Manager <br />Employee Organizations: Executive Unit <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS <br />Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.8 <br />Property: 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue - APN 0160-132-54-0000 <br />Agency Negotiator: Jeannette Olko, Electric Utility Director; Delmar Williams, Best Best <br />& Krieger LLP (City Attorney) <br />Negotiating Party: Mark Moss, property owner <br />Under negotiation: Price and terms of payment <br />C. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />Initiation of litigation pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(c) <br />1 potential case <br />Relates to the El Sombrero night club. <br />Mayor Chastain adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:09 p.m. and at 6:09 p.m.; the <br />meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. <br />Mayor Chastain reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on the <br />items previously announced with reportable action on Item C staff is authorized to pursue legal <br />action as deemed necessary by Police and Fire Department as it relates to the violations. <br />A.
