As we discussed, this is an "as <br />needed" position, with employment commencing on April 22, 2009. Your duties will <br />include, but not be limited to, the duties of an Office Specialist II. You will report <br />directly to the City Manager or his or her designee. <br />Your salary will be seventeen dollars and no cents ($17.00) per hour, paid in <br />accordance with the Employer's regularly established policies. You will not be entitled <br />to any benefits, nor any vacation leave, in connection with your employment, other than <br />benefits required by federal or state law. In addition, you will not receive any <br />compensation for City -observed holidays. <br />Moreover, this is an at -will employment relationship and you or the Employer <br />may terminate the relationship for any reason, with or without cause, without prior <br />written notice. You also understand that the Employer may demote or discipline you <br />with or without cause, or advance notice. In addition, you will not be entitled to any <br />hearing and /or due process rights in connection with any disciplinary action undertaken <br />against you by the Employer. This paragraph is intended to be the complete and <br />exclusive statement regarding the circumstances under which your employment may be <br />terminated. It supersedes any prior agreement or representation. If any term of the <br />paragraph conflicts with any practice or policy of the Employer, now or in the future, the <br />terms of this paragraph will control. The terms of this paragraph may not be changed <br />except by written agreement signed by the Employer. The terms of your employment are <br />subject to change in Employer's sole discretion. <br />
