1�a�mond 1Zoa <br />4,4� ot & -�aar <br />f�Mmas, in honor of this celebration, Senator Gloria Negrete-McLeod and <br />her Legislative colleagues, Assembly Member Wilmer Amina Carter and <br />Assembly Member Norma Torres, joined efforts and held the Man of the <br />Year Awards Luncheon on Friday, June 18, 2010; and <br />(W wre s, the City of Colton is proud to honor Raymond Roa as the Colton <br />recipient for the distinguished Man of the Year Award, whereby, he has <br />dedicated his lifetime to assisting friends, families, businesses and civic <br />worthy causes throughout the Inland Empire; and <br />N&MS, it is the desire of the City of Colton to give appropriate <br />acknowledgement recognition to individuals who have rendered <br />invaluable service to the community, and <br />NUi'eQ.S, Mr. Roa is a resident of the Colton community and alongside his <br />loving wife, Susan, of 62 years, have raised their two children, two <br />grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and <br />f�Mffws, on May 19, 1930, Mr. Roa was born in the City of San Bernardino <br />and proudly identifies himself as a true pioneer—a 40 -year employee of <br />the Santa Fe Railroad—of which he dedicated 21 years as supervising the <br />repairs and rebuilding of freight cars and diesel locomotives; and <br />(lAerms, Mr. Roa has truly earned the respect and admiration of this <br />community, whereby, throughout his lifetime he has been passionately <br />committed to serving the needs of the community, county and state. <br />—NOW, MC�, I, Kelly J.
