Animal Collection Vehicle to Prestige Ford, <br />$21,682.37; Police Special Patrol Vehicle to Mills Ford; $14,459.94. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Police Department submitted requisitions to purchase two new vehicles for their department. One of the <br />two is an Animal Collection Vehicle and the other is a Ford Mustang Special Patrol vehicle. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />General Services advertised for quotations on March 11, 1993. Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., March <br />22, 1993 in the General Service's office. We received four bids on this requirement. A Bid Analysis is <br />attached showing the total price of each vehicle and the delivery time. The recommended vendor's price is <br />underlined. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that bid award be made to Prestige Ford for the Animal Collection Vehicle and Mills Ford <br />for the Ford Mustang Special Patrol vehicle. <br />Report prepared by Kenneth L.
