ACEVEDO <br />Finance DirecWr <br />DATE: April 8, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: Awazd of Bid to AAA Paving Company in the Amount of $25,300.28 for Paving the Parking <br />Lot at the Electric Department Main Substation. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Electric Department purchased property just West of the main substation at 150 South lOth St. and <br />has enclosetl the property within a block wall. The final phase of improving this property is to pave the <br />property for use as vehicle pazking. On March 25, and April 1, 1993, staff advertised for quotations on this <br />public project. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., Apri17, 1993 at City Hall. Two bids were received for this project <br />and both bids met the requirements of the specifications. A Bid Analysis is attached for your review with the <br />recommended bidder's total price for the paving project underlined. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the bid be awarded to AAA Paving Company in the amount of $25,300.28. <br />Report prepazeti by Kenneth L.
