CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of April 20, 1993 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Julie Hayward Biggs, City Attorney <br />SUBJECT: COMMISSIONER APPOINTMENT ORDINANCE Date: 4/15/93 <br />At the City Council meeting held on April 6, 1993 some questions were <br />raised concerning the anti -nepotism provisions that were included in <br />the ordinance that established a system for appointing commissioners <br />and committee members to City boards on a district basis. It was <br />suggested that the issue of nepotism be revisited by the Council and <br />that consideration be given to removing the anti -nepotism sections of <br />that ordinance.
